Our History

In July 2015, BrokerWeb Management and Brokernet NZ, along with NZ Brokers Holdings, came together and formed a new partnership, overnight creating the third largest broking group in New Zealand with the collective capacity and strength to establish itself as a major force in the New Zealand market.

Since its inception in 2001, BrokerWeb Group has become a consortium of 42 respected New Zealand owned and operated independent insurance brokers. With unequaled representation (members in 45 locations throughout New Zealand) this group truly cultivated the service it became known for: “Local people serving local people.”

Brokernet was specifically formed to provide additional client benefits for distribution and use by its independent, New Zealand-owned insurance broker members. This association offered members a point of difference to their competitors, through superior scope of cover, technical advice, risk management, competitive pricing and service on a national basis.
